This is my favourite place to paddle, and represent the core of our coastal heritage. Lots of uninhabitated Islands gives us shelter from the wind. We will see few houses, some cabins, narrow channels, clear water, birds, and all the magic of this rugged and weathered landscape. Glaciers and erosion have shaped the Gneis and Granite rocks into a kayakers wonderland, and next stop to the west is the Shetland Islands!
This can be an easy trip on a good day, and a very demanding on a windy day. It can be smooth or dynamic depending on what you want. We land on an island, perhaps make a fire and taste kelp, snails or you eat the Norwegian "matpakke". We can talk about the local history, or leave you alone in silence if you prefer. This trip lasts for approx 8 hrs. I do this trip for 2-4 people.
Places we might visit is Glesvær, Telavåg, Algrøna and Turøy, all depending on the weather. I'm happy to do it for one person too for the cost of 3000,- please drop me a mail,-.
The Genuine West Coast Full Day
I pick you up at 10:00. Then we drive for 50 mins, get dressed and explore the coast until approx. 13:00. We land on an island for lunch, and will normallly be on the water again at 14:30. we continue to explorer the area and land around 17:00. You'll be back in Bergen 18:00. We can start earlier or later if you want.
Cancelation policy on the candidate’s part:
- cancelation more than 20 days before the trip will result in a full refund
- cancelation between 20 and 10 days will result in the loss of 50% of the trip fee
- cancelation less than 10 days will result in the loss of 100% of the trip fee

- transport, travel, accommodation and other costs will not be covered
