This is my favourite place to paddle, and represent the core of our coastal heritage. Lots of uninhabitated Islands gives us shelter from the wind. We will see few houses, some cabins, narrow channels, clear water, birds, and all the magic of this rugged and weathered landscape. Glaciers and erosion have shaped the Gneis and Granite rocks into a kayakers wonderland, and next stop to the west is the Shetland Islands! 
 
This can be an easy trip on a good day, and a very demanding on a windy day. It can be smooth or dynamic depending on what you want. We land on an island, perhaps make a fire and taste kelp, snails or you eat the Norwegian "matpakke". We can talk about the local history, or leave you alone in silence if you prefer. This trip lasts for approx 8 hrs. I do this trip for 2-4 people.
